Book Fair!
We will visit the in school book fair on Friday March 18th at 9:05.
Children are encouraged to bring money to use at the fair. Please send me a quick note if you have any guidelines you would like us to keep in mind for shopping.
No more snow gear
I think it is safe to say that we will not need snow gear at school for the rest of the year.
Curriculum
This week we will be celebrating all things St. Patrick!
On Monday we will work on traps to catch those tricky Leprechauns on Thursday.
We have started working on learning how to write our lower case letters! As we learn these letters, we will be expecting them to be used in everyday writing. This is a challenging task for most kiddos.
We have now learned all of the Super Star Letters (vowels). We will learn about Kind Ed (silent e) this week.
In science we continue to work Pushes and Pulls.
In Social Studies we think about Maps and Globes.
For Math, we will be checking in on our progress as we approach report card time. It is amazing when we think about all of the things that we have learned so far this year.
If you have an approved CORI form and you are interested in helping out in our classroom, please check out the Volunteer Schedule for March!
Wish List:
We are approaching the time of year when several of the items we stocked up on in the beginning of the year are in very short supply. If you are able to help, the following items would be more than appreciated:
