About Me

I began my teaching career here at the Robinson School 18 years ago. I spent 9 wonderful years in First Grade and was excited to make the switch to Kindergarten.

I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2004 with a Degree in Applied Learning and Development. In 2006, I earned a Master's Degree in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education from Rivier University. My Master's work brought me here to The Robinson School. I was fortunate enough to be hired onto the staff once I earned my degree.

I live in Dracut with my husband and two children. My daughter Kate is 14 and is in 9th grade this year. My daughter Emily is 11 and is in 7th grade!

I believe that children should learn through play, exploration, and engagement. I have high expectations for the children in my classroom to work hard and be kind. I also have high expectations for myself to provide the tools and experiences that will help my students develop these skills. Kindergarten is a year for children to learn to work together, be independent, and love learning. I will sing, dance, cheer, wipe noses, give hugs, say no, and maybe even use a "teacher voice" in my classroom. Through all of this, I hope to make Kindergarten a meaningful experience for you and your child.
